"The Drum Perspective” deals with plenty of musical/aesthetic issues and the practical/ mechanical side of how to bring our musical ideas to life. "The Drum Perspective" comes with a CD filled with tracks which represent a virtual "best of" sampling of my recorded work from the 1980s and 90s ~with a track of me playing in the 1960s when I was 9 years old (with the Stan Kenton Orchestra) thrown in for good measure ~plus corresponding drum charts from the original recording sessions, and accurate transcriptions and analysis. This is my most “philosophical” book to date, but it contains a lot of practical drumming advice, too.
